Herringbone shopping bag

I have to say, this is one of my favorite bags yet. Inspired by a project I saw on Craftster.
100% wool herringbone exterior, cotton floral accent and 100% raspberry linen interior. Reclaimed pleather handles and there you have it. The perfect shopping bag.

Embroidered silk purse

Woven silk with embroidered flowers and leaves. Retro bamboo handles, lined with a green and orange plaid wool. Sound strange together? Well it's cute. And with that vintage button from Rebecca's stash, it just all comes together!

Velvet evening bag

A small evening bag made from a vintage skirt and ribbon. Interior is a contrasting aqua cotton handstitched in place.

Cute gym bag

I have a curtain in the same fabric, which would look weird if I stood in front of it holding this practical, carry-all bag. Denim and hot pink accent stiching. But I won't stand holding it in front of the drapes because it's for sale at General 54 already.

Little red and black number

Well, it's Audrey's little sister. She might be considered a little more flamboyant (but somewhat more practical) than her older sis, what with the red & white toile, giant silk pockets on the outside. But she's just as stylish and elegant. right?

Debbies special

Made especially for Debbie, cut velvet exterior in a big bucket shape. Embroidered flower applique, and accordion jute straps. For my biggest fan! xo

Ode to Audrey

Made with ivory satin ribbons and some black & bronze Gramercy fabric, one can't help but think of Breakfast at Tiffanys for whatever reason. Interior is made with more of that sumptuous egyptian cotton damask. It's now with someone who just loves it to bits, so what more can I ask for!

Trees in the park

A collage of 4 different colours of the same fabric. Recycled leather handles. The back is made of a taupe quilted cotton; interior is a luxurious 600-thread count egyptian cotton. If you could sleep inside there, you would, but it's too small.

Nadia hobo bag

A comfy multi-seasonal print with taupe and acidic green, lined with striped ivory egyptian cotton.
My mother bought this one and said it's more practical than it looks. Thanks!

Louise the practical

Another appearance by an Urban outfitters bedspread, along with quilted chocolate straps, brown and ivory plaid pockets, and silky black lining. Currently being flaunted on the streets of Bristol by my little sister!

Velvet hobo bag

This was made from a velvet miniskirt that I never could fit into. And pumpkin coloured egyptian cotton, with braided leather straps. Now owned by a lovely girl who lives in Switzerland!

Beachy handbag

It's called a beach bag, but it's lined with ivory raw silk.
so not exactly. makes you feel like it's a summers day though.
The other fabrics include a Beacon Hill cotton plaid,
ribbed coral colour straps and floral detail.

Granny's Cabbage Roses

cabbage roses

This one is made from an urban outfitters bedspread, and a vintage pink wool my grandmother gave me. Lined with pink taffeta. So girly and gramma at the same time.

first silk purse

from sows ear to a silk purse
recycled woven leather buttons, with a collage of fabrics and textures.
